Answer 1:

Our Dispatch Office is open between 7:00 am to 9:00 pm, with a 24 hour on call dispatcher. The Accounting Department is open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (Monday thru Friday) Human Resources is open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (Monday thru Friday)

Answer 2:

Most of our power units (tractors) are Freightliners. We also have a fleet of trailers, flatbeds, and curtains sides. Straight trucks, vans, and our express vehicles are also available for freight transportation. At this time we are not operating tri-axles or dump trucks.

Answer 3:

We register with a Gross Vehicle Weight of up to 80,000 pounds. This includes the truck and trailer. Allowing the load to weight up to 45,000 pounds

We haul containers, pallets, boxes. Haz-mat certified drives are also available.

Answer 5:

Shipments can be pre-paid with cash, check, or money order. Provided there is enough time, a request can be made to our accounting department to set up billing. Our accounting office will send you a credit application that would need to be filled out completely and sent back. At this time they will check all of your credit references and make a decision and notify you of the status.

Answer 6:

S&J Transportation Services has an inhouse Warehouse provider available for an additional cost. 360,000 feet of warehouse space, offering racked areas for smaller palletized material and open floor areas for those larger freight items. These warehouses are professionally staffed, computerized, secured, and heated.

Answer 7:

Our operations model allows us to cover the United States. We have a number of local drivers to cover all of New England. Our long haul team covers the east coast. Brokerage partners are setup to cover the remainder of the US.

Answer 8:

Not only can we help, we are professionals at this type of work. We travel in and out of The NJ/NY terminals/ports frequently hauling ocean containers for your convenience.
